Photo shows Les Stockton, an early member of Whitchurch Walkers, who together with his black dog and a pram for transporting materials, did so much  to open up the footpaths around Whitchurch including this route.

A walk exploring the railway/foundry heritage of the town. For almost 150 years, the Smith family operated a business in Whitchurch manufacturing a wide range of products from grid covers to oil jetties. This walk traces the history of the family and their influence in the town and reveals some of the products that can still be found in and around Whitchurch. Leader: Bill Webb
